Devices
The Devices page at app.codeteleport.com shows every machine that has pushed a session to your account. From here you can review device details and remove devices you no longer use.
Device cards
Section titled “Device cards”Each device is displayed as a card with the following information:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The device name, derived from your machine’s hostname |
| Hostname | The full hostname reported by the operating system |
| OS | The operating system (e.g. macOS, Linux) |
| Last seen | When the device last pushed or pulled a session |
| Session count | Number of cloud sessions associated with this device |
Remove a device
Section titled “Remove a device”Click the Remove button on a device card to delete the device record from your account. A confirmation dialog will appear before the action is executed.
When a device is removed:
- The device record is deleted from your account.
- Sessions that were pushed from that device are not deleted, but their device association is nullified — they will show no source machine.
- The device slot is freed, allowing you to register a new machine (relevant on the Free plan).
Auto-creation
Section titled “Auto-creation”Devices are created automatically the first time you push a session from a new machine. There is no manual setup required — CodeTeleport reads your hostname and registers the device in the background.
If you change your machine’s hostname, CodeTeleport will treat it as a new device on the next push.
